Lavender much prefers the company of frogs to people. She spends most of her days in the creek behind her house looking for frogs and kissing frogs. She talks to frogs and they talk back in their own language she can understand. They tell her they will turn to princes but never do. With the help of the frogs Lavender begins a journey of self love and other-love.
